# Habidesk

> Habidesk is a marketplace for renting spaces by the hour or by the day in Lithuania — photo and video studios, event halls, offices, sports venues, workshops, rehearsal rooms and garages. Searching, booking, paying and invoicing all happen on the platform.

A renter chooses a space, a date and a time and pays by card. A listing marked "Instant" is confirmed the moment it is paid. On every other listing the card is only authorised, never charged, until the host accepts — the host has 24 hours, and an authorisation that is not accepted is released and nothing is taken.

Hosts keep their own calendar on the platform, accept or decline requests, and are paid out through Stripe after the booking ends. The renter pays a service fee of 4 % of the booking total, shown before payment.
